Rural Revival is a rural farm in Bluffton, GA run by Will Harris. Here they believe in suitably grown meat and zero waste. It's a story about learning from the past and holding on to your beliefs in order to make the world better.
I had the honor of being the lead editor on this documentary. I helped organize and transcribe footage, as well as sit with the director and collaborate to narrow down the script. My main responsibility was cutting a piece that not only told this story with words but also told it visually. This is my first ever documentary and it holds a very special place in my heart.
After our festival run we walked away with seven acceptances which included: Lift Off Global: First time filmmakers, the Roma shorts festival, The Paus Premiere festival, Boston Independent, LA independent woman film awards, London Indie Short Festival, and the North Dakota Environmental Rights Film Festival.
